I drew these whilst teaching part time in an infant school. The stories could be adapted for the Sid n Nancy characters maybe. I can imagine Nancy's hair in some propellor-like action...
have to say these are my faves here, Marko. Very nice. have you done this in photoshop? They look like they've been inked onto wood or somesuch texture. Keep up the smashing work! :-)
I'd like to say that i inked the artwork onto wood. There's an artist down in London called Basher who does that and it looks great.
Truth is the original artwork was just plain black and white so i jazzed them up a little before i posted them. Just whacked a multiply on the artwork layer and put a texture behind it in photoshop.
Right, pass me an axe, i'm off to find me some timber
i fell off the merry go round when i joined My Team but now that i'm not part of that studio anymore and with putting this blog up i'm keen to get back on that ride. All this talk of merry go rounds has given me a sudden urge to go find some candy floss...

Cool Blog spot!
Even though you're a Geordie who likes Torque I'm still very impressed by your artwork, you have a very nice style !!
I like the Sid and Nancy characters - I can only hope there will be no drug related death / murder involved.

thanks for all the positive feedback!
The names Sid n Nancy came from a meeting with the author Viv French and Venetia Gosling from Simon & Schuster. Seemed like a good idea at the time...
